ABOUT THE OWNERS
Hi, I'm Jay, the co-owner and operator of LeanFeast Madison.
In April of 2020, I, along with my wife, Morgan, and our business partners Joe and Sarah Pavelski, opened LeanFeast Madison with the mission of providing convenient, high quality and nutrient-dense meals to the Madison community. With years of experience in the health and fitness industry, I have seen first hand the overwhelming shortcomings of the standard American diet, and the US food industry.
At LeanFeast, we seek to disrupt a food industry that puts greater profit before the health of those they serve. We could have never prepared for the challenges of opening a small business at the height of the COVID pandemic, but we have remained steadfast in our mission through it all. Since 2020, LeanFeast has positively impacted the lives of thousands of customers, serving fresh meals to local organizations including UW Health, UW Athletics, Forward Madison FC, and the Madison Capitols.
Our passion for health and fitness also extends beyond the walls of our store. Morgan and I also own and operate CrossFit Mojo and CrossFit Mojo Downtown, in Fitchburg and Madison, respectively. We still both actively train clients on the gym floor and through our Mojo Nutrition Coaching. Through these complementary businesses, we are able to provide our clients and customers with a truly all-inclusive solution to health and fitness!
Outside of the store you will often catch us chasing around our daughter, Poppy. We are frequent visitors of the Vilas Zoo, the children's museum, and many of the wonderful parks and libraries around Madison. We love Madison and look forward to serving the local community for many years to come!
